And with fall on the way, it’s almost time for everyone’s favorite fall activity, apple picking! Whether or not you think apple picking is “basic”, you will still probably end up going, so here are a few trends to rock to make sure you’re the apple of everyone’s eyes at the orchard (and on insta!)
Plaid/ Flannel Shirt
This item is a great and versatile piece that can be dressed up or down. Pair it with jeans for a cute and comfy look, or with a bright skirt for something more feminine. We recommend warm reds or oranges, rather than cool green colors so you don’t fall into the background with the trees and grass.
Vest
When dealing with fickle fall weather, layers are key. But sometimes you don’t want to commit to a whole jacket. Vests are a perfect item to take the edge off and warm up your outfit. And they look fantastic layered over your flannel button down!
Here Reese Witherspoon is rocking two trends in one, with a plaid vest!
Riding Boots or Rain Boots
The apple orchard could be dusty or muddy depending on the weather, so it’s best to have boots on instead of your bright white sneakers. Leather riding boots are a perfect subtle item to complete your outfit, and rubber rain boots can offer a cute pop of color.
We hope everyone has a fun and fashionable fall!
