Staying in the city this spring break? We found a bunch of fun activities to do all around New York to keep you occupied this week!
A surprise full of color; The Color Factory pop-up museum is in New York City! This picture-worthy palace is a selfie galore and we can’t get enough of it! Jump into a huge baby blue ball pit and feel like a kid again (or bring yours) along with many other cute spots to throw yourself into. It’s full of fun interactive activities and there is so much to see and do with all your friends and family. Don’t wait too long, this pop-up won’t be there forever!
Sweets and treats are forever on our minds, especially if it involves a cake milkshake! Black Tap is known for its crazy over-the-top milkshakes to fill that sweet tooth craving. They offer many different themed drinks from black cherry, chocolate, caramel, and more. Yum!
Broadway in New York is one of the most classic things to do during the day or night and will always be a blast. Wicked is one of our favorites that we can see over and over again. There are many other broadways shows out such as Chicago, The Lion King, and Hamilton. The performances are amazing and we love singing along to all the music!
New York’s museums are absolutely a must see – The Museum of Modern Art is definitely on top of the list. It’s an iconic place that “fuels creativity ignites the mind, and provides inspiration.” The art is continuously changing so you will never be bored no matter how often you go. This is an activity that can be done solo or with others. FYI – student’s get a discounted price for $14!
The Botanical Garden is always a beautiful location to visit when you are in need of an escape. Sometimes the city can be a bit hectic and you are in need of some peace and quiet. This relaxing spot in the Bronx is a must for a nice stroll through the flowers. P.S. – it offers free admission from 9:30am-10am!
Looking for something different and entertaining to do that involves laughter and drinking? Going to Gotham Comedy Club is the way to go! There is also a lounge room where you can play cards, have an intimate dinner, get theatre style readings and more. Perfect for a date night or when out with a group of friends. There are also many other comedy clubs around the city that you can choose from.
There are endless amounts of spring break options to choose from, so whatever you end up doing will be full of fun and relaxation!
